The house was amazing and just what we wanted for a more relaxed casual wedding vibe – we loved how we could put our own touch on the house and use our own suppliers. I will never be able to thank North Cadbury Court enough for giving us the most amazing wedding weekend ever! The moment we found NCC we knew it was where we were going to get married and the experience was everything and more that we could have hoped for! Suzanne went above and beyond from start to finish and we cannot thank her enough. Wedding planning takes over your life but the minute we walked into our pre-wedding dinner we could see that Suzanne and the NCC team were going to take care of everything and from that moment on we were gifted the ability to be care free and take in the whole weekend. North Cadbury Court is quite simply the most incredible wedding venue we could ever have dreamed of. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was somewhere truly special, and it exceeded every expectation on our wedding weekend.

The venue itself is stunning, with so many unique and thoughtful touches that made the whole experience unforgettable. From the amazing party cellar and casino room to the beautiful en-suite bedrooms, rooftop golf, incredible gardens, and breathtaking views — every part of the venue gave our guests something to talk about and enjoy. It felt luxurious, relaxed, fun, and full of character all at the same time.

What really made the experience exceptional though was the staff. Every single member of the team was fantastic, but a special mention has to go to Georgia, who supported us from day one right through to the big day itself. She was organised, calm, helpful, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect for us. Thanks to her and the team, everything went completely without a hitch, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

Our wedding weekend was filled with family, friends, love, laughter, and memories we will treasure forever. We honestly could not have chosen a more perfect venue and would recommend North Cadbury Court to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable wedding experience.

We had the most EPIC wedding at North Cadbury Court in February 2026. The location was perfect, the venue was sensational, and the staff were fantastic. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, and helped organise and manage every single detail seamlessly from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house itself is absolutely stunning – full of character and beautifully maintained. Our guests were blown away by the setting (and we’re still getting messages about how incredible it was!). The team went above and beyond to make sure the 3 days we were there ran smoothly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their calm, professional approach meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. They worked so well with our suppliers and made everything feel effortless. Having the entire place to ourselves made it so special – it felt intimate, personal, and completely ours. The accommodation was gorgeous and comfortable, and having everyone stay together just added to the magic. If you’re considering North Cadbury Court for your wedding – do it. It was everything we dreamed of and more!

If you’re thinking about having your wedding day here. Don’t walk, run! All the staff were terrific, you’re taken care of from start to finish and it truly is a spectacular venue, with spectacular views. Lucy was our events manager and she took on the role midway through planning, she was on top of everything and was always ready to jump on a call, no question was too small and all the details were looked into. Our event manager Georgia was an absolute star, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and everyone could sit back and relax and have the best weekend ever. An exceptional and unique wedding venue for the following reasons: -Very professional and helpful team that can support you to realise the wedding to suit your wishes. -Being able to host so many of your guests on site. Much less faff of taxis or helping guests find accomodation. It also makes the whole thing feel more intimate and personal – guests can bond over a long weekend, rather than a half day. -The facilities, both indoor and outdoor, that are conducive to special moments, whether in large or smaller groups. The range of facilities also can cater to a range of interests. It means a weekend of fun, rather than just a wedding. -Selecting, with the venue’s guidance, top quality suppliers, that can meet your needs and preferences. -The fact the venue can go host events till the early hours, rather than having to cut it at midnight as is common with many wedding venues. -Easy travel to and from London if many of your guests are coming from there. -Having the legal right to marry couples, whether civil marriages or Christian services in the next door chapel. -Irrespective of the weather, the indoors and outdoors settings give North Cadbury Court a special aura.

Nice place, great wedding venue. The room we had, the bathroom light switch was very dodgy & the door wouldn’t lock… a little bit of TLC required. But enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I recently worked here as suppliers for a wedding. It’s a beautiful venue and Lucy was amazing in collaborating to make the surprise for the bride we were there to perform come together perfectly. She really went above and beyond, so it must be an amazing experience to be a couple getting married here with such an amazing team taking care of you. I think the other lady we met was Linda – also lovely and very helpful. We hope to be back.

Visited NCC for a wedding recently – incredible venue the a great range of activities – and above all, incredibly friendly and friendly staff!

Awesome wedding venue, food great, accomodation very comfortable. The golf course and basement disco are additional highlights, highly recommended.

It’s hard to envisage how it’s all going to come together when you’re doing venue visits months in advance and planning from afar, but everything that your website describes and that you told us in the run up is completely true and more – North Cadbury Court felt completely ‘ours’ for the weekend in the best way, but with the most organised, supportive, professional support crew on earth to back everything up and keep things running smoothly. One of my bridesmaids said the whole weekend felt like staying at a ‘hotel but it’s run by Pete and Chloe’, and that was exactly it – this perfect balance between having complete control over how we used all the different spaces and laid out the plan, but with the friendliest staff to help behind the scenes at every turn, and the fun of treating our loved ones to the most luxurious and comfortable stay along the way.

From Cherry and the lovely housekeeping staff making all the breakfasts and lunches seamless, to Christy and the evening/bar team being so proactive and just intuitively making decisions in the moment and knowing how to keep everyone happy and well served – it was all incredible. It’s such a well oiled machine, and Suzanne (our event manager) you had everything running like total clockwork (while still making time for the lovely moments like greeting us with a glass of fizz at the end of the ceremony!) All your suggestions were spot on and we could not have felt more at ease with the plan and the support in place, and just so ready to celebrate by the time Saturday morning rolled around.

It’s clear from photos how incredible the setting is and what an amazing range of activities and facilities are onsite, but we felt so happy that our guests got so stuck in and really made the most of everything on offer over the weekend – everyone was running round from golf to croquet to swimming to sauna to tennis, beaming. Our wedding party are already scheming what kind of occasion might mean we can all make a return visit (particularly our parents – we’ve never seen them happier!)

You’ve really got something incredibly special going at North Cadbury Court and I’m so excited for all the couples who are yet to experience it. It’s so rare to find such a beautiful venue that lets you take a dry hire approach, with as much or as little support as you want. A true gem and it meant we had a weekend that felt completely personal and us, that we’ll treasure forever.

Simply put, amazing! We cannot express in words what a wonderful venue North Cadbury Court is to hold your wedding. The main house, the surrounding grounds and the Yacht club collectively provide the most incredible place to ‘tie the knot’ and celebrate with family and friends. In tandem, the accommodation in the period bedrooms in the main house, the adjacent Coach House and the suite in the Yacht Club all have their own character and leave absolutely nothing wanting. An extra special thank you to all the staff at the venue…Lucy, Lynda, Gus, Alex, Ben, Phylis, Bill, Cherry, Liz, Bessie, Christy, Tim, Charlie, Richard…you were all fantastic; never visible to guests but always available to help and guide when needed. Thank you all for helping provide the most special wedding memory for our son and daughter-in-law that they will cherish forever and everyone that attended will never forget.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing and wonderful this place is. Our daughter was married there the weekend before last and the whole experience was utter perfection from start to finish. We hired NCC from the Thursday to the Sunday and guests really took advantage of all the amazing facilities provided. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming if we’d been precious family returning from a long absence. We’ve had many many thankyou cards saying what an amazing venue it was and how special the occasion was. We’re still coming down from the weekend but the memories will last forever. It was sheer perfection. Thanks to the owners and all the staff from the bottom of my heart. I sincerely hope to visit again.

North Cadbury Court has to be the best possible wedding venue in the UK! From the second we found it online and after one quick viewing we knew it was the place for our special day. We had our wedding there last November, and with half of our guests visiting from the US, it was the perfect place for us to spend a 4-day weekend making memories we’ll cherish forever.

As promised from their website and other reviews, it really feels like your home while you’re there, yet they still have the MOST experienced, professional, and kind staff. From the event managers, Georgia and Steph, to all the staff that came in and out throughout the weekend – they definitely exceeded all of our expectations.

Steph was our main coordinator and was a saint leading up to the wedding and throughout the weekend. She said “YES – SO FUN!” to all of our bespoke ideas and worked extra hard to make everything we asked for happen. We were so lucky to get to work with her on our wedding day.

Our guests still rave about their experience and say they wish we had longer there! We’ll definitely be back to the venue for other milestone life events.

A mixed group of 46 stayed for 3 days to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our Society. What a 3 days! Stunning place, endless ways to entertain ourselves, quiet places to relax and the most helpful team from North Cadbury Court. North Cadbury Court was the perfect setting for our December winter wedding last year. The house was so well equipped, the poker room was popular for our younger guests, and the basement club kept the adults partying into the early hours! A big thank you to Georgia and team for making it such a special occasion!!

Wow! What an incredible venue. Our wedding party used every single facility over the extended celebration weekend: the pool, the lake, the church, the casino, the disco, the morning room, the billiard room, the ballroom and all the beautiful en suite bedrooms. On the morning of the wedding we went on a 5k run around the grounds. Absolutely fabulous!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at North Cadbury Court for a company holiday, and I can’t express enough how incredible our experience was! The house itself is absolutely stunning, blending historic charm with modern luxury. There was so much to do right on-site; we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi, exploring the golf course, and spending time in the casino. Each activity was perfectly maintained and provided endless entertainment.

The staff at North Cadbury Court were phenomenal. They were always friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our holiday ran smoothly. They worked tirelessly to cater to our needs, making every part of the experience seamless and stress-free.

As the event planner, I was particularly impressed with how (my direct NCC contact), Steph, coordinated with the external suppliers we hired to provide additional activities. We looked at many venues before landing on NCC as we both have big families and we wanted everyone to be able to stay on location. NCC’s main house rooms and the coach houses meant we could get everyone over and spend time together for a bit longer than the usual weekend.

During the week i think we actually used all of the many many activites that NCC has to offer. Everything from tennis, swimming, the snooker, golf, croquet, casino, pedaloes, cycling, etc. everyone had something they could enjoy, on their own or in small groups. but we could come together for meals and talk about our day.

The size of the venue itself was just right for us. The ballroom was big enough for the sangeet and ceremony and party, while the north hall served as perfect welcome, canapes and drinks area.

NCC’s partners like Hot Air baloon, Shooting experience, and the Croupiers were an delight to work with too.

All of the NCC staff were brilliant, always someone around if we had any queries, including at 7am when people wanted an early morning swim post events! NCC staff ran our open bar for two nights and we very impressed with their professionalism and how well everything ran!

We had a wonderful experience with our North Cadbury Court. Despite deciding at the last minute to host our wedding there due to some unexpected issues that delayed our planning, they managed to pull off an extraordinary event. Their attention to detail and impeccable organization were truly impressive.

Georgia, our coordinator, was great. She handled everything with grace and efficiency, making sure every aspect of our wedding was perfect. Coordinating a wedding from across the world is no small feat, especially when merging two very different cultures, but Georgia and the team exceeded our expectations. They seamlessly blended our traditions and created a beautiful and memorable day for us.

There was even an issue with one of our guests who couldn’t stay in her assigned room. Without causing us any additional stress or even informing us, Georgia promptly accommodated the guest’s request. We only found out later from our guest, which speaks volumes about Georgia’s ability to handle problems efficiently and discreetly.

A real home from home.

Attended a relatives wedding last Friday and Saturday. Stayed in one of the cottages. Brilliant , clean and cosy. A true home from home. The main building and grounds were superb. Staff excellent and made you feel welcome. So many fascinating nooks and crannies. No hesitation in recommending this country house

I cannot speak highly enough of this extraordinary venue and the wonderful team who work there. For our annual corporate retreat we need somewhere that we can have exclusive hire of with plenty to do and a memorable experience for our team: boy does NCC deliver! The facilities and rooms are plentiful and first class. The property and grounds are big enough for a large group to really spread out and yet somehow also intimate enough for everyone to feel together. The team could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed but also left us alone so that it really felt like our very own place. We loved it so much that we immediately booked again for next year. Thank you team NCC.

I went to North Cadbury Court in the summer time and it was great. It’s a massive Villa or mansion depending on how you look at it there are five floors including the cellar and it’s expansive and historic. I believe it’s 600 year old and has more modern extensions. They are a lot of rooms great for parties or business events. The back yard is massive they have a pond and a “yacht club”. There’s also a driving range on the roof as well so lots of fun to be had. The basement has a casino area and it’s really decked out quite nicely. The folks there were all lovely and very helpful. There’s also a church nearby that is really quite lovely and majestic. The best part is it’s quiet. No street noise. The only thing you’ll hear is the church bells.

ANY event that you can dream of this place can provide for. From glorious wedding venue to 6am rave cave and everything in between. We spent 4 magical days there for our wedding and still didn’t get to enjoy all the things it has. The staff support before and during is epic. And everyone can stay on site in rooms that are all unique. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place. We promise to return.

I have photographed 4 weddings at North Cadbury Court. Everything from deep December weddings to high summer ones and it’s always been a great experience in different ways. It’s a beautiful place and even though it’s big it feels private.

Wonderful wedding and special events venue. Marvellous grade 1 listed building, fantastic views a lake with yacht club, games galore, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, great bedrooms wonderful rooms and even an underground night club and casino. A Marvellous experience.

We recently had our 2 day wedding celebration (Hindu ceremony, civil ceremony) at north Cadbury. Suzanne and the team delivered beyond our expectations! Everything down to logistics, and communications were planned exceptionally well. The venue has something for everyone of all ages, and a perfect place to create unforgettable memories.

We attended a wedding at North Cadbury Court. It is a beautiful old building, perfect for hosting a weekend long wedding. The church is situated just a few steps from the main house. The house has 41 rooms in the main house, all beautiful, in a shabby chic style. The grounds are lovely, with a boating lake at the bottom of the lawned area. The house seems well managed and maintained. There are a number of other buildings with self-catering accommodation, all very tastefully done, only small gripe is that the rooms we stayed in didn’t have any wardrobes or storage, which made it a bit awkward. But this didn’t detract from a lovely stay.

A 70 th birthday weekend party for 75 guests ranging from 26-82…. Something for everybody and need to return to make use of all the facilities!!!. Staff amazingly warm, helpful and hardworking. Katherine was abs fab as event manager and felt like we were old friends. I can’t fault this venue except to say non of us wanted to leave!! But what memories for one and all, especially for the young mums who were able to totally chill without their kiddies. Thank you soooo much one and all . You will be hearing from me again very soon. We fell in love with North Cadbury Court the moment we saw it. There are a lot of stunning venues in Somerset, but none have the wow factor like North Cadbury Court. Not only is it a home that has had every single desire met but you can tell the amount of love and care that goes into not only maintaining the venue and grounds but whilst you’re there. We didn’t feel like we were just another customer, our desires and experience always felt unique but supported by an extremely lovely and experienced team. The team there are so inviting and welcoming that you feel an extension of the Montgomery Family. We had a wonderful experience there for our civil partnership and Georgia and team made it nothing short of magical.

An utterly gorgeous venue, I had the absolute pleasure of shooting a wedding there recently, the staff are amazing, Wendy in particular was so helpful. Hope to shoot many more weddings at this incredible venue, I would recommend to anyone looking to book their wedding at this luxury venue.

It is hard to conjure up a more perfect venue that combines impeccable facilities with a historical architectural building.

The staff are absolutely second-to-none. Georgia runs an incredibly tight ship with regards to weddings and events, discreetly orchestrating everything behind the scenes. From the rest of her events team, to housekeeping and estate staff, everyone goes above and beyond to create your dream wedding.

It is always an absolute honour to be asked to be part of the team, and collaborate on the lovely couple’s big day.

It really is perfect in every way. We stayed here (east wing flat, Matisse) for 2 nights for a friends wedding. Everyone had free roam of the entire house and land. It’s simply magical and the staff are remarkable! You could have all the money in the world and you still wouldn’t come across a more stunning or more friendly and welcoming venue for a wedding. We loved every minute and were sad to leave.

As a Wedding Photographer who photographed Abi & Clint’s wedding in August 2017 I can honestly say this venue has it all. Even has a golf putting green on the top of the roof..! Has lots of rooms, period charm and great staff. Comes highly recommended. Looking forward to photographing there again.

We had the most fabulous company retreat here. The house is beautiful, the staff could not be more welcoming, and the attention to detail is just incredible. I am so glad we chose this venue!

We have just returned from North Cadbury having spent a magical long weekend celebrating our daughter’s wedding. Everything about this venue is beautiful. It is stylish, well maintained, practical and well resourced. We felt totally at home in this wonderful building as a result of the friendly, warm welcome given to us by the staff at North Cadbury. Georgia and her staff could not have done more to make the wedding such a success. From the first time we visited to our departure on Sunday, nothing was too much trouble. The staff who helped us during the weekend worked tirelessly to make the wedding perfect. Thank you all very much.

We are a wedding band are were lucky enough to be asked to play at North Cadbury Court! This place is stunning inside and out! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The food and bar were both expertly ran. The house was really relaxed. It is also far enough away from any neighbours so music volume was not an issue, they even have a underground night club!! 🙂 We play a lot of venues and North Cadbury Court is amongst the best.
